Been A While

Its been 3 months since my last post.

Honestly, there has really just been a ton of things going on that I haven't quite had as much time as I used to, to be able to reflect, and speak on anything that may be on my mind.

The summer was....ehh. It seemed we were mostly dealing with "baby mama drama", from both of my daughters siblings mothers. One is just a mess, and never brings their son around. The other is uppity and feels like everyone owes her something, so since she doesn't get what she wants, she punishes us by picking up her daughter earlier than she was supposed to. But that's a whole story that I don't feel like wasting my energy on.

Before I knew it, summer was over. We barely got outside to do anything. I didn't even get to take Marley to the pool at our apartment complex. Partially because there's usually too many people out there, and they are hooligans and are jumping in and splashing, and Marley doesn't like that.

School will be starting in 11 days. Marley is nervous and excited to go into 1st grade. She really just wants to meet her teacher. I pray she likes whoever it is this time, because she didn't like her Kindergarten teacher for some reason. She seemed nice enough to me. But she likes what she likes. Her open house is next week Thursday.

We are still trying to find a house. We pretty much decided that an FHA is just too difficult of a loan for us to be able to find what we need. So, my loan officer told me to just pay down either my Walmart card, or my consolidation loan $800, and I should be able to get a conventional loan, which will open up so many more opportunities for us. I've already paid $600, and tomorrow I am going to pay another $200. So, as long as I get all my ducks in a row by the end of this month, I will be applying for a conventional. I still am determined to be in our new home before Christmas!
